Throw in the emergence of Arkansas as well. There really are not any free division games anymore.
That was my argument the other day with a few people who said the West sucked this year. It may only have 1 "elite" team, but it has 6 teams that on their best day can beat Top 25 teams, and 3-4 teams that on their beat day can beat Top 10 teams.
There is no game in the division that you can waltz in, play like crap and win by 10. Every other division in CFB has at least one of those games. We have none.

The power paradigms always change.
Alabama will not always reign. Auburn won't always suck. And the West won't always dominate the East.
(Apologies in advance to LSU fans for using big words.)

A&M was notoriously gracious and humble coming in to the SEC. Mizzou was the one running their politically correct mouths.
bullshite! Y'all rented a billboard on Lakeland Drive in central Mississippi right in front of Jackson Prep to gloat after JFF won the Heisman. No other team in the SEC would have done that shite. Who the frick would do something that attention whorish?
Y'all look like a new money douche throwing his money around screaming "look at me look at me". Y'all are the RebelGator of the SECw.

And this is what's putting coaches in the hot seat. It's not Saban by himself but the fact there's no seperation between the remaining teams
With the exception of LSU, Auburn had a chance to win all six of their losses. This year was the 1st time I didn't see a huge talent gap separating the top from the bottom. This is a scary thought going forward.

Only two schools have finished 7th in the SEC West, Auburn and Arkansas.

One of these things is not like the others. I'll give you a clue, it's the one that starts with an a and ends with an a.

They've greatly benefitted from all that SEC contract money that they did little to create aside from being everyone's bitch.
This is why you can't just re-distribute wealth to the poors, they just ruin everything for us all.

Does Ole Miss know what state Atlanta is in? Since they've NEVER been and all...

Try acting like you've been there before. You'll be better for it when things don't always work out the way you think they should.

it should be becoming increasingly clear to you, that you wont be winning 9 or more games a year very often anymore then. because the landmass schools kicking auburns arse is becoming commonplace lately. and not likely to change for a while. (cant speak for little brother state college, but Ole Miss will be looking down on Auburn in the standings for the forseeable future. deal with it)

I've recently decided that 2012 and 2015 do not really count for Auburn. All other years are fair game however,

For someone to go up, someone has to go down. Conference success is a zero-sum game. So there will always be a couple "Mississippi schools", even if they aren't always going to be actual schools in Mississippi.

Not for the SEC title, correct. But we played in the Georgia Dome twice last season. So we're aware of where it is. I was worried I would be mugged on both visits. Atlanta made me appreciate living close to Nashville.
