Saban is the best recruiter in the nation, do you really think a "top" guy will go to Auburn over Bama at this stage in the game? Hell no. You can have all the Craig Sanders and Jeremy Richardsons...we'll do fine with Alfy Hill's and Keenan Allen's.
He can have all the middle of the road in-state kids he wants, it won't get him very far.

What the hell does it matter what Auburn is doing in recruiting? Alabama will still have a top three class regardless of what they do. Alabama is also off to a hot start on the 2011 class.

You offer early playing time so some will get some players but Bama has always signed more in state players than AU. That is not going to change.

And we have a winner. If you weren't afraid of Chizik's recruiting, this thread would never have been started. Even after that, if you were so secure in Bama's dominance in recruiting, you wouldn't be attempting to deflect with your worn out Saban flaming b.s. And, if you aren't a teenager...wow, then you are REALLY insecure. I can at least understand a teenager starting this kind of thread to reassure themselves.

does Chizik not run a 4-3 anyway? If so it's a different style Lb. One is a bigger hybrid DE/LB type. The other is smaller, quicker.
Chizik is a very good coach. Sabin is also a very good coach. I think over time Chizik will be the better coach and recruiter. Recruiting the state of Bama seems to be fairly equal right now that coaching situations are stablized.
