I think over time Chizik will be the better coach and recruiter.
:bwahaha:

And we have a winner. If you weren't afraid of Chizik's recruiting, this thread would never have been started.
What a stupid thing to say...this is what message boards are for. By your logic, you would cut out 80% of the threads on every message board across the country.

1. a Bama fan

2. probably a teenager

3. on an LSU board

4. STARTING A THREAD about AUBURN RECRUITING and then,

5. Claiming that Bama fans are not worried at all about Auburn recruiting, yet,

6. Continuing to argue about it, then, when faced with facts,

7. Attempting to deflect his losing argument by attempting to flame using tired, unoriginal b.s. about Saban and LSU, when,

8. His original post was about Auburn recruiting.
1. Yes
2. No
3. SEC Forum, where fans of all kinds of schools post right?
4. In direct response to a thread further down boasting Chizik's recruiting skills and him taking back the state.
5. Nope, said that Saban will still get who he wants in state.
6. No facts were presented.
7. What?
8. Wrong again, it was about Saban dominating the state forever and always.

We are 2 years removed from basically a 6-6 average this decade WTF do you expect? Saban has been here 3 years, and Urban has Florida on top of the CFB world.

I think its hilarious LSU and AU fans now live vicariously through Florida, because they can't take care of business themselves.

How does it feel to know that it only took Saban 1 year to dethrone your beloved Tigers from elite status of the SEC West?

24-2 means nothing now of days.

The very fact that a Bama fan felt compelled to start this thread says it all. P.S. calling him Chiznik doesn't cover your fear either.
So what does it say for all the Saban threads on LSU forums?

LoL...idiot.

Jeremy Richardson committed to Auburn on June 5, 2009. Don't believe me? Check it out on Rivals. He was an Auburn lock before the summer even started.
Continue reading and you won't look like a moron. I then said we quit talking to him in Feb.

quote:

As far as Owens goes, Saban sure did spend a lot of effort on a player he didn't even offer.
He spends a lot of effort on everyone...something you wouldn't know anything about. He was something known as "plan B"..

quote:

And by the way, Mosley was on Auburn's sideline Friday.

Would you expect him to be on our sidelines for his trip to Auburn? What a moron...

Green- no LSU offer
Sentimore- late LSU offer after grades came in
Lacy- no LSU offer
It was said that its dumb to make excuses for why a guy went somewhere else.

Thats exactly what you just did.
quote:

That's completely opposite of what you said in the first post. Making excuses about why a player went elsewhere and junk.

Did Saban want Dyer? Or Reed?
I meant top guy in the state..

But no, we didn't want Dyer or Reed.

LSU Fans are the last to tell people not to make excuses as to why a kid went elsewhere...Green, Sentimore and Lacy all say hello.
jeremy richarson was never considering alabama. his whole family are huge auburn fans.

He was until we stopped talking to him in February..I was wrong about the summer. It was last year.
Saban is the best recruiter in the nation, do you really think a "top" guy will go to Auburn over Bama at this stage in the game? Hell no. You can have all the Craig Sanders and Jeremy Richardsons...we'll do fine with Alfy Hill's and Keenan Allen's.

He can have all the middle of the road in-state kids he wants, it won't get him very far.
in recruiting...let's take a look.

Owens: We are taking 1 LB outside of Bolton and our staff likes Mosley better. Heck, even a player that committed to Clemson I think mentioned that Owens was turned down by Bama. Owens goes from committing to a school in a few days, and then on that day he pushes it back and wants to take more time. Seems to me he was turned down by Saban.

Jeremy Richardson: Alabama led all summer, until they quit talking to him. No offer...We brought in Keenan Allen (5-star) as our "bigger" WR. You can have JR.

Craig Sanders: I think we know Saban doesn't just quit talking to kids he wants, esp committed kids. Alfy Hill > Craig Sanders. He was butt hurt.

Jake Holland, Kenneth Carter, Justin Delaine and Jawara White: Never sniffed a UA offer...

Howard: No UA offer.

So lets not get ahead of ourselves..Saban will still get every single player he wants in-state, Chiz is no match to him on the recruting front.

re: Robby Green and Cory Reamer

Robby Green is more of a coverage situation guy as he usually comes in on 3rd down's and such. Not surprising he didn't see much action..As for Reamer, he isn't athletic enough to play. Thats just the cold hard truth. He is a very heady player, but just not really gifted athletically.

We shouldn't see much of him next week either.
Just clearing this up..

1. Steltz played in 3 games that year (according to lsusports.net). His RS did not get burned for 1 play or 1 meaningless blowout game. Thats a misconception. He played in 3 games, and wikipedia actually shows him playing in 4.

2. Daniels was burned in the SECCG...not a meaningless game. There is a difference.
If you look at just stars...top 10.

If you look at players on the field and production...top 25.

This was a theme on bama boards in 2006 and on LSU boards in 2009.
This is a fact..we felt bad for our talented players and many were saying "there was no way we could fire Shula" after just gave him a contract extension and all of the things you are saying.

Thankfully we did, or else we would still be in the cellar.
Wow..

I feel bad for this proud fanbase...it reminds me of Bama during the Shula times.

dude, his numbers are better bc yall have a much better team than you did last year

if you had jpw on this team, id no doubt think yall would win. your running game was not that great compared to this year. having mark ingram being a badass opens up the passing game for him

pathetic...im out.

answer the question

whos the better qb?

sarah or greg?

serious answer
Greg...JPW could not win games, he wasn't a good enough passer to do so. Greg can.
