No. That sht would have been illegal, in the southeast, in the 50s.

funny thing is, aggy will make fun of stupid individual incidents at schools to deflect, every school has idiots
this is what aggy does for every game, for decades, it’s their turdition

Really makes you think, what kinda honkeys were going to aTm in the 50s and we’re like, “this is neat!”
I will say, aside from agreeing with everyone about how cringey it is, its one saving grace is that it’s a long standing tradition. There’s something that’s kinda cool about doing something unique, the same way they always have, spanning multiple generations. If I were an Aggie I’d defend it on those grounds (and only those grounds).
That said, It’s just too bad it’s so lame.

Arrogance is nothing new within the boundaries of texass.
It's not any better in Austin.
A&M...time for an update while keeping some tradition. You can do this.

I get that this is just one of their traditions, but I feel like I just watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy- Football Version...no heterosexual male becomes a Yell Leader--let's be honest.

We don't seek out the gays here in the SEC.
Dude, their like a flaming homo wearing a pink tutu sucking a dick on a big rainbow float going down the middle of the road at a gay pride parade and your stuck at a red light forced to watch it.
You don’t have to search they’re gayness out. It’s right in your face.

Are there gay students at Texas? Yes.
Did we make violently homoerotic rituals the foundation of our entire university? No.

The lyrics:
quote:
Deep in the night
I'm looking for some fun
Deep in the night
I'm looking for some love
You tease me
Oh, please me
I want you to be my love toy
Come near me
Don't fear me
I just can't get enough of you, boy
Oh...you touch my tra la la
