His desire to to play at the next level isn’t what will put him in another line of work. And honestly it’s not just his height. It’s more about ability.
Bama was working through injuries. UGA had a season to figure out there injuries, Bama had a week.

He was able enough when it mattered.

No, I ain't a "hollyweird" movie director; however, my career in the sports field had me in front of the camera on numerous occasions. Plus, I did TV commercials back in the 1970's and I've done voice-overs.
So, I was merely casually commenting on Stetson's on-camera performance because....looks are a part of the biz and, sure, he's handsome...but, he delivered with his performance that was surprisingly good.
Then again, he is....The Mailman. He always delivers.

My UGA buddy sent me this, and then agreed with me it was a bit creepy. If a delivery guy started looking in your house and asking you questions about it.
his acting was pretty solid though, can't knock that.
It also looked like the beginning of a porno. The husband knew he lost his girl when she heard his name was Stetson Bennett

The main thing he lacked to be in the heisman conversation was attempts.
He threw 11 4th quarter passes in the regular season last year... because UGA was ahead by huge margins in most of their games. Bama wasn't, so Young was playing and completing passes in most of their 4th quarters.
When you look at per-pass stats, Bennett stacks up pretty well
Yards per pass attempt - Bennett 10, Young 8.9
QB rating - Bennett 176.7, Young 167.5
completion percent - Bennett 64.5%, Young 66.9%
yards per rush - Bennett 5.6, Young - 0.0
TD's per pass attempt pct - Bennett 10.1%, Young 8.6%
Bennett was more prone to throw picks than Young. But otherwise Bennett stacks up pretty darn well with Young last year... when you account for the fact one was in an offense that passed less and was able to sit out the 4th quarter in most games due to UGA leading big... while the other was still throwing the ball in most 4th quarters due to the games still being somewhat close.
I think those who look in depth at what Bennett did last year statistically will be surprised at how good he was.

Bennett is not a great QB. He is a system QB and game manger. But he will not win you games on pure talent like others can. After college his playing days will be over with.

I have said this many times, I am a big Stetson Bennett fan. The guy is a competitor, and that is what you want on your team.
