You need good players to compete against other teams' top players. Will be hard to do with so and so players and very little depth.

We had good talent this year just a really bad coach. Bert and Morris actually recruited well. There is a decent foundation in most of our positions. Per 247, we had more roster talent that Mizzou this year, which either shows you that Morris was just that shitty or Odom was just that good at development
In fact, just looking at that list, we lined up with more or equal roster talent than 7 of the teams we played this year. Morris was that fricking bad

You kidding me about Barry Odom?! He suck big time as head coach! The offense was so bad due to lousy OC and OL coach! Kelly Bryant was not very good quarterback.

Yes....that's why we didn't make him head coach
We hired good OL coaches and a good OC to pair with his good defense

You hired a spread pass first coach to take over a heavy run first roster.
Morris did not become a bad coach in 18 months.
Morris clearly lost the team at some point.
No coach can transition from The run heavy offense to the spread that quickly

I have no idea why any OOS 5 Star would sign with Arkansas. You're not going there to compete for championships.
