Quotes like these from LA just baffle me.

Poorest does not equal most backwoods.
We don't teach intelligent design in our schools. (LA does)
We didn't try to put a bill through offering the death penalty for rapists
and Marijuana is decriminalized.

Three instances where Mississippi is at least idealogically, significantly less backwoods than Louisiana.

This thread is like watching a Special Olympics event. Yeah, I guess someone has to cross the finish line first, but in the end, we're all challenged.

hmm. Someone appears a little hurt. You're right though.
There isn't a classy fanbase in the SEC.

How is teaching a different theory on the origin of all things, backwoods. Yall are always calling us closed minded until we offer a different opinion than yours.

You are a wise poster Dukke, and unfortunately this the rule rather than the exception.

Becuase it is being taught alongside something that is accepted as scientific fact, as a viable alternative. Frankly, It's wrong.

Being accepted as doesnt mean it is factual, There is no proof regarding the theory of evolution and shite just falling into place by some cosmic coincidence. There is more scientific data to disprove evolution than to prove it and that is FACT. It takes a lot more faith to believe in evolution than it does intelligent design.

Yes sad. Plenty of people have had similar experiences with LSU. Stereotypes and reputations exist for a reason, they are not just created out of thin air. What is more sad, the spitting and beer, or the LSU fan who relishes this type of behavior because it is "how we do it in LSU"? I'm not nieve enough to think that all fan bases don't have people like this, but for LSU it is the rule not the exception. I went to Tiger Stadium in '89. Night game, ESPN, BAMA won. I was blown away by the noise, Mike the Tiger, the band and atmosphere. Leaving the game we had 1 older couple tell us congratulations, and that we had a great team. The rest of the weekend full of A-holes. Also had a friend from Chatanooga who was on the spirit comittee for BAMA (they run on the field with the flags). He was attacked that weekend with a baseball bat. He spent the rest of fall semester in various reconstructive surguries and came back to school virtualy unrecognizable. Needless to say I have no desire to return to what is probably one of the most electric atmospheres in college football.

yea we have a fair share but no more than bama or anywhere else in the sec.

all the sec is the same. bama and ole miss try to act like high class but at the end of the day if the lose they are just like everyone else.

in 2005 katrina was bama fans fav word so there goes the class shite for them.
