Getting blasted on the national stage by Alabama twice in 10 years is only fitting for Notre Dame. Were a thorn in tOtherGOAT’s side in the 70s and their media darling status cost probably one of the greatest teams of the last 60 years to default to a lowly consolation bowl.
If winning truly is the Notre Dame way, then Brian Kelly will either again have to make philosophy changes, or head to another school altogether, which I personally believe is inevitable. I made a thread earlier this year where I thought Mullen had Florida going in a better direction than Georgia, but it seems that was my Skip Bayless/Cowherd take of the year. I can’t help but feel like Brian Kelly exudes this Dan Mullen-ish energy from the way he carries himself and represents his program, which essentially dooms his program to the glorious pantheon of college football known as “above average” by proxy.
frick you Notre Dame. Hope Anderson sends Book into the shadow realm.

I'm still sad about Teo's invisible girlfriends death.

In fairness, the truck driver never saw the poor girl in the middle of the road.

Losing by 20+ in a NC game is pretty bad. Just glad Bama scored some points. Getting shutout coupled with a blowout would have been historically embarrassing for a NCG.

I still don't know how he continued as a man after that. Muh God it was terribly embarrassing and dumb.

Imagine losing a Natty by more points than a team that barely crossed the 50 yard line...
Super impressive stuff!

Yeah, but in the day of elite SEC defense between elite teams, that was the equivalent of a 45+ pt arse whipping today.
It truly was super impressive, almost program altering

Imagine being the first team to ever be shutout in a BCS bowl game.

Shutout - and still kept it closer than A1abana vs an 18 year old blonde chick...

Was in the south end zone when Biscuit turned his lights out. I thought he had killed him.

No fan of Bama, but this is dishonest framing

It's the price you pay when you actually adhere to an academic standard. Many of Alabama's football players couldn't get into Notre Dame. In fact, if they weren't excellent football players they couldn't even get into Alabama. That being said, your .gif is damn near criminal abuse.
