So far this week on the rant, the second part of your assertion has been proven laughably incorrect.

In any rivalry series, the big brother program tends to forget their wins and dwell on their losses. The little brother tends to forget their losses and dwell on their wins. It is the way of things. Call it TTMR's Rule of Rivalries.
Ehhh. I don't buy it.
I just think the Auburn wins in the series seem to be far more memorable. What's the saying Auburn fans usually have... "If both teams are good, Auburn always wins."
Going back to 1982, Auburn leads the series 11-3 when both teams are ranked in the Top 25.
By that metric, Bama's three biggest wins in the series (since 1980) were against #6 Auburn in 1994... against #15 Auburn in 2014... and against #16 Auburn in 2016.
As far as I can tell, Bama has only once defeated a Top 5 Auburn team.... beating then #5 ranked Auburn in 1971. Since then, Bama is 0-4 against Top 5 ranked Auburn teams (losing in 1983, 2004, 2010, and 2013).
Meanwhile Auburn has wins over Bama when Bama was ranked #1 (2017), #1 (2013), #2 (1989), #2 (1972).... not to mention #7 (1986), #8 (2005), #9 (2010), #11 (1993), etc.
The most memorable Bama Iron Bowl win I can think of would be the Van Tiffin field goal of 1985. If you think of classic plays/endings and accounting for how good both teams were at the time, Auburn probably has wins in 9 of the 10 most memorable Iron Bowls... with 1985 being the only real Bama exception. 1994 might be up there as well. Also 1996 was a sneaky good game between two mediocre teams that ended in the final minute.... but again, neither team was great that year.
When you start thinking about the Kick6, the Camback, Punt Bama Punt, etc., Auburn just has far more of the truly epic Iron Bowl wins.

Yes, because when the little brother wins, it is remarkable. When the big brother wins, it is not. Take 2011 and 2012 as an example. Alabama destroyed two mediocre Auburn teams those years. Those games are all but forgotten now. Reverse the roles, and they would be talked about all the time, because Auburn has never beaten Alabama like that in living memory.
This entire past year in state has actually been pretty instructive in the relative program goals of Alabama and Auburn. It’s been the quietest year between the fanbases that I can remember. Why? Because both teams achieved their ultimate goals last season. Alabama won a national championship, and Auburn won the Iron Bowl.

Spitting truth.
Also, back when Auburn won in 2010, the luster was sort of gone because Bama won 2009 and 2011-12. And they had to rampantly cheat to get Cam there and he got out quicker than he came in.

Oh, you are one of those.
Only one of these two teams has been on probation multiple times since 1993. I'll give you a hint...it's not the team you hate so much.

the reason the barn has more top 5 wins over bama than bama does over the barn is simple. bama has been up there far more than the barn has.
bama was a national brand while the barn was still trying to teach a cow to fly across the stadium.

You must have not been around during the shula years. We had some of the worst losing seasons and still sold out Bryant Deny and the fan base was still excited about each season and following all the games.

Except they did their last expansion during the Shula years.

Link?
It's been about 11 years since the last mediocre Alabama team so I just need to see some proof in writing.
