The one where AJ threw the 99 yard TD pass. Thing of beauty.

AJ never played in an Iron Bowl.

He wasn't even born before the last Iron Bowl

Yep. I laid it out in an earlier post, but I'll say it again. In any rivalry series, the big brother program tends to forget their wins and dwell on their losses. The little brother tends to forget their losses and dwell on their wins. It is the way of things. Call it TTMR's Rule of Rivalries.

What do you want us to do, grind our teeth and bitch and complain about a loss. Enjoy life, don’t be such a wanker.

When y'all win, you rush the field, throw parades, get married, have babies and name then after players, shout it from the mountaintops and celebrate and relive the glorious day every day forever. Then you lose and it's like "meh, so what, only Gumps actually care about football."

It's not the Iron Bowl anymore.

Even David Housel said as much on JOX this morning.
It's just the Alabama-Auburn game.

Perhaps he is. However, his comments have some merit.

He went on to say that Alabama has benefitted more than Auburn by removing the game from Birmingham. Citing the facilities in Tuscaloosa would have never been upgraded to their current level if the big games were still played in B'ham.

It's certainly given Alabama a nudge in bling category.

......and when bama is mediocre, your fanbase disappears.

This is one thing you can damn sure say about our fanbase....we are out in full force, win or lose.

First correct thing David Housel has probably ever said.

Furthermore, I don't even know why a self respecting Alabama fan would ever let Auburn dictate the name of the rivalry game.

Ralph "Shug" Jordon named the game in 1964.

Why would you want to be Auburn's little brother and accept Auburn's name for it.

We ridin’

We comin’

Pirouettes and flea flickers.

Gus got one play that takes 15 minutes. Qb hands to RB. Then series of reverses to WRs. Then options galore like a rugby line flowing. This is why our punter is an Aussie!

We comin!

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!

Alabama is (45-36-1) against Auburn

That doesn't speak well about bama then.

Sure it does...

Alabama people don't judge themselves in relation to Auburn.

I know that is a foreign concept to Auburn people, since your whole world revolves around comparing yourselves to Alabama.
