Ohio State loses to Michigan but then beats Indiana by three scores in the Big Conference Championship game.

This can’t happen because if OSU loses to Michigan, they won’t get a chance to play Indiana in the CCG. Michigan would only have one conference loss and so would OSU, but they’d have the H2H win. So OSU still gets in the playoff but not as a conference champ

Aggy hasn’t wanted to play us. We are the program winning championships, not Aggy.

Which drops Ohio State to 4th and Georgia's 2nd game in the Quarterfinals

If Indiana losses by several scores; UGA takes the 4 seed from them in this scenario

Thats even better, no? 5 conference champs get an auto bid but top 4 rated teams get a bye? That'd mean, if everyone wins out. Ohio State #1, ATM and BAMA in Atlanta and UGA in at 4 or 3 if Bama drops a second game. I mmay be wrong about the auto-bids though and the ratings. Either way it is better to not play in the SECCG although it would be fantastic to win another SEC title....but that is all it means, you still gotta play the same number of games

Right, neither Texas nor Tech are gimmes...

Let's put the brakes on playoffs.

Too far ahead for me to consider. I’m just trying to decide what to cook for dinner tonight.

ideal playoff scenario for UGA.

Wouldn't an ideal solution see UGA slip into the top 4 and miss the SEC CG?

Then we would have to play Ohio State in the semifinals.

If UGA wins out, they would be one of the top four seeds I believe. Either Bama or A&M would most likely drop behind them and or the loser of Indiana/Ohio State. UGA best case scenerio is having A&M and Alabama in the SEC championship and get a bye in first round of playoffs.

They aren’t going to drop teams out of the top four for losing their conference championship game.

Why not aim for 4 seed if we're dreaming big?

Ideally, we make the playoffs. We have two ranked teams on our schedule that we need to beat before that's a guarantee. Right now, I'm hoping we can beat Texas. Then Charlotte. Then Tech. I'll concern myself with the playoffs when and if we make it.

We are fans. Not players or coaches. We can look ahead to our 2028 schedule and it will have zero impact on how our team plays agaisnt Texas, UMass and Georgia Tech.

One thing is for sure, you don’t want to meet Bama anytime, anywhere.
