All they have to do is apologize and say the right things and the local media will move on. I lived in Fayetteville for a few years (great place, seriously) and the local and state media are beyond homers. There's a local radio guy (Rick something?) who's the absolute anti-Finebaum.
And the national media won't care for too long. I really can't see him being fired, but who knows.
