All this proves is there's too much meddling in Auburn athletics. Which was the case at Alabama pre Saban.
But Auburn has to crank it up a notch just to catch up with Bama.

If any of that is true, the most embarrassing part is that assistants like Napier and Venables said no, and the UAB coach essentially said no by saying he would only take the job if he could bring his whole staff. And all of that rejection was prior to the Harsin fiasco and the team's talent being gutted. Imagine how hard it will be to recruit a coach now.

This buffoonery is exactly the reason why Coach Prime or any other coach worth a damn will steer clear of the job. Auburn could get away with this clown car circus 15 or 20 years ago and average 8 or 9 wins a season but the level of competition is so high across the conference now that it makes it impossible. Nothing is going to ever change until the idiots running the show down there put their egos aside and do what is best for the program. Until then it’s just a bunch of little fiefdoms.

I don't know Baseball or Basketball. Does Bama have much better facilities in those two major sports? Is MSU the flagship University in MS? The must have a enrollment of close to 40K to have some of those facilities.
