Any NAME of a rivalry feels forced. But you finally have to name it.
LSU A&M is a legit rivalry in every sense of the word. History, shifts in win loss, recruiting wars, border states, hate, culture extremes, but passion for football. The Gulf is considered by most the area under LA and Texas. The I-10 stretch is the way you go. I drove it a million times from college station to see my girl in Bation rouge. Before cell phones. Literally Callin' Baton Rouge!

I'm not a hater but I don't like this. "War" implies something that isn't warranted and to me insults those who have actually fought in a war. We can surely do better.
