At least use field turf so it looks somewhat like grass - lots of injuries on astroturf.

Faurot’s playing surface is 75 feet below the road deck as you walk through the gates. Between fungus & the fact that every type of natural grass will go dormant after the first frost, which is mid to late October around here it’s not viable. Arrowhead in KC was artificial turf in the 70’s & 80’s for this reason, but is now Bermuda,. So everything that you see on TV at Arrowhead after Oct. is sprayed painted grass, though the Chiefs generally run through 2-3 fields a season w/ re-sods. But hey, the rock M is back and looks sweet.

It is, it’s the newest field turf available 3D3, whatever that is, just that the company’s official moniker is Astroturf.

Arkansas has similar weather.
Arkansas has a field that is well below the road as well.
Arkansas is able to grow grass.
Mizzou is just poor and doesn’t want to worry about taking care of real grass

Still looks like an absolute dump. Such a surreal and bizarre reality that they are in this league.
And of course they continue to kick our arse every year but still, its fun to laugh at their weirdness and all out horrific fit within the league.
