Nah. It is a fact. You are not a meaningful part of the championship picture at the beginning of the year. Invariably you fall back into your place in the pack. You cannot get over the hump.
LSU is only slightly better when it comes to being a part of the picture. And we pissed that away the past two years.

You’re right our season was crap. We fired our head coach because mediocrity doesn’t cut it at Lsu unlike Texas 8&4. However it must feel awkward to smack talk such a shitty LSU team that Texas 8&4 lost to. How many mediocre seasons does Texas 8&4 give Jimbo before they cut ties? Or is 8 wins considered a success at your second rate school?

Let me check here. Look at that, A&M finished the 2020 season at 9-1 ranked 4th nationally and corndog was not even in the top 25 one year after their natty win.. This year, A&M still in the top 25 and LOLSU is still nowhere to be found in the poll. Hmmmm

This one is my favorite. Only on the rant are embarrassing seasons followed by coach firings more celebrated than 8-4 seasons.
