While it's true that Kelly has never coached in a league like the SEC, and it's true that his record in bowl games is lackluster to say the least, and it's true that his record against top 10 teams is abysmal, and it's true that he's known as someone who doesn't enjoy recruiting, it's also true that he has a truly excellent won/loss record over many years as a head coach.
If the SEC proves too much for him, LSU can always cut him a check for $90 million dollars and send him on his way.

Because LSU gave a man who has never won a major bowl game and has never won a major conference championship a 90 million dollar guarantee.
It's not the guarantee itself that is nuts. Saban and Fisher both have massive guarantees. What's nuts is giving that kind of guarantee to a man who has never won anything.

Well he’s been to the playoffs more times than Jimbo, so we’ve got that going for us.

A&M just extended Jimbo and gave him an even larger salary and buyout for never winning anything at his current job. What he did at FSU in 2013 shouldn't have an effect on salary negotiations 4 years into his tenure at A&M

Remember last week, all the faggies were talking about killing us last weekend. Now they know we own their asses. Faggies are our bitches. They also know if O with half a team can whip their million dollar man, Kelly will bury them.

Agreed. I think Kelly's a better coach. And he's really upped his game the last 5 years.

Jimbo beats 8-4 #17 UNC in a bowl game, Kelly loses to #1 Alabama in the CFP in 2020. Your conclusion is that makes Jimbo look better
Jimbo was annihilated by that same Alabama team last year
