Pete Golding became DC at Ole Miss in 2023. Here is Ole Miss’ tecord and defensive rank in the SEC by points allowed per game and yards allowed per game during the Kiffin era with and without Pete Golding.

Never thought I would see Bama fans praising Golding, they hated that guy when he was at Bama.

Bama fan starts a thread about how Pete Golding has substantially improved the OM defense during his time there and half the responses are from upset LSU fans about Pete Golding being successful at OM.

Ole Miss won several close games this year and they weren’t anywhere close to shootouts. I wonder how much of their success can be attributed to Golding instead of Kiffin? If I were LSU I would be worried I just overpaid big time
