Michigan, Washington and FSU all went undefeated and won their conference championship as well. They definitely should be in

FSU is not one of the best 4. They'll get steam rolled.

Final spot should be between Bama and Georgia. Texas plays in a group of 5 conference AND played 5 backup quarterbacks in that murderer’s row.

That is an opinion.

Thankfully we have WON/LOSS records to go by.

Bama shouldn't be in the conversation.

The SEC champion shouldn’t be in the conversation?

This is dumb. You can make logical arguments to keep Bama out, but in no rationale way should they not be in the conversation. Be better.

tu's loss was a worse loss than Bama's and Bama's best win was much better than tu's

And head to head goes out the window when it is the first game of the year and they are not in the same conference. The idea is to pick the better team right now and Bama is clearly the better team.

I didn't know that the SEC being left out and Texas being in would get ags so worked up.

The other games matter too. Texas played no one. Bama won the SEC and beat good teams doing it.

Texas had a much higher ranked strength of schedule. I know it doesn’t fit your narrative, but it’s true

Texas and Alabama had eerily similar schedules in terms of SOS ranking. If only they could’ve played each other this year so we could find out who was better…

Lol why are we talking about Temple? This is a conversation about Texas?

And I had no idea the criteria for CFP selection was who can stack up the most impressive losses. Is that new this year?

that was also true in September apparently. And then they played on Alabama’s field. How’d that one turn out again?
