Those are quite obviously the two best bets......With all their starters returning 247 said OSU's defense will be crazy good, especially in the secondary with (3) potential 1st rounders and being a top defense last year.

With Saban gone, will the refs still give Bama all the calls?

2)Would you mind pointing to the season in which a 2 loss team would have missed a 12 team playoff? I can't find it

Let’s look at the last five seasons, excluding 2020 because it was a shortened season due to covid. All of this is based on week 15 CFP rankings, when playoff selections would have been made.

2022: Washington (10-2) would have missed the playoffs.

2021: Pit (11-2), BYU (10-2) and Oklahoma (10-2) all would have missed the playotts.

2019: Alabama (10-2), Oregon (10-2), Notre Dame (10-2), Minnesota (10-2) and Cincinnati (10-2) all would have missed the playoffs.

2018: Washington State (10-2) would have missed the playoffs.

Every year but last year at least one power 5 team missed the playoffs despite only having two losses. 2019 was especially brutal.

Oregon won their conference and was 5th in the final playoff rankings.

Them winning their conference championship game is what dropped Alabama to #13 in those final rankings.

Pretty sure Oregon makes a 12 team playoff that year.

The computer is 1/2 right. OU will beat OSU in the championship.

It is super easy to look up. I am still surprised you couldn’t find one 2 loss power five that would have missed the playoffs.

Mizzou is a solid dark horse this year their schedule should get them into the playoffs.
But no reason why Ga should not win out and get another natty.
Listen I agree I think Ga was screwed last year too

Maybe you should educate your fellow Georgia fan that several major schools would have missed the playoffs with 2 losses.

But you aren’t a Georgia fan are you Brian.

Are you not capable of looking it up? Surely you can.

Here is week 16 CFP 2019 rankings.

2019 was a very good year for you.

We won't lose two and miss...because of our schedule. You might lose two and miss.

Well, we have won 2 titles since Alabama has won their last, so it could be argued we are better, as a program.

You are joking, right? What is your record vs Alabama? What is your Head Coach's record vs Alabama?

Indeed this is approaching joke status. You lose in September and you can no longer use the GOAT excuse. And theres a decent chance that you will.

I contend that if you lose that September game, with your schedule, that you could miss going to Atlanta and also miss the playoffs. For the second year in a row.

Someone with a bad haircut might be looking at the hot seat.
