There seems to be a lot of Ohioans, Pennsylvanians and New Yorkers there now

Hell yes. That playoff game last year had an awesome vibe to it. Poor Tennessee fans got to freeze their asses off and watch Jeremiah Smith and Treyveon Henderson drag their nuts over their team. It was a sight to behold

Ohio State would have home field every year because they don't play anybody.

Maybe we should restrict all playoff games to dome stadiums?

25% of NFL stadiums already are domes or have retractable roofs. It seems many of the newer ones that are in the works have retractable roof designs as well. You will see more and more domed/retractable roof stadiums.

Most schools can’t afford to build them though, and taxpayers shouldn’t be asked to foot the bill.

There really hasn’t been a dominant defensive front besides Texas that they’ve played. If you have the horses up front, you can beat them. The right side of the O line is a weak link

Way less money. These cities pay a lot of money to have them. I think it would be better on campuses, but it will never happen.

Um, we are already there brother.

This....the bowl system needs a massive overhaul....at least have the higher seed play at home so the stadiums onlesser bowls have a partial crowd.....empty stadiums are a bad look.

The biggest games in most sports are played on neutral fields.

Having a single championship game at a premiere neutral site is enough, like the BCS title game was.

Playing multiple rounds at neutral sites is ridiculous.

Fans can't travel across the country over and over again to see their team play 3 consecutive neutral site games.

Imagine if the entire NFL playoffs were at neutral sites.

Just absurd.

100% agree....it used to be so the "student athlete" could have an opportunity to enjoy bowl week....the lambos and hookers are hard to compete against now that theyre paid.

It was an electrifying atmosphere that night, and not just in the Shoe but the city. A TV crew from Knoxville was reportedly on the scene at the Olentangy when Tennessee fans would toss the goalposts into the river. I guess they had to rely on AI.

Those have 7 game series except the NFL, which is on a neutral site.

IMO, the bowl games, particularly the big ones (Rose, Orange, Sugar) could stand a bit of humility.

They exist to make a whole lot of money for a select group of old white guys.

Don't even suggest the lion's share is being paid to the participants.

The teams have to pay their own way there, food and lodging for an entire team including all the coaches and hangers on for a week and then get stuck paying for thousands of tickets they cannot sell. If they want to bring the band and cheerleaders, that is on their tab too.

I would welcome all CFP games played on campus stadiums.
