Edit: genius idea here - remove each one of those rectangular sections that currently has a window and put in floor to ceiling windows in place of them, so basically all of the "raised" sections are the only non-glass exterior. THAT would be a good looking building.

For art students, those signs are terrible. No amount of funding could fix that level of average art.

And you still wouldn't see it, because...

Since 2007, almost $1 billion has been spent replacing most of the dorms on UK's campus. So many have been built that the Kirwan Towers will sit empty for the first time since they were built in the late 1960s.
They will not be used until UK decides whether to renovate them or to demolish the two giant buildings. Dr. Capiluoto has pushed for and achieved student housing that is segregated by field of study. He thinks this will increase student retention and raise UK's academic standing. I think it's a brilliant strategy.
The Towers have a potential use as housing for lower income students. They're 23 stories tall and renovations would have to be extreme. I hope they can be used again. I can't imagine the campus without the twin towers.

It's one LSU uses as well...
One of the Residential College dorms. This one is for Engineering students...

Residential colleges enjoy all the same amenities and features of traditional residence halls, but they also maximize the on-campus living experience by creating smaller communities and fostering greater student–faculty interaction beyond the classroom. Residential colleges are for first-year students, and are either major-specific or interest-based and open to all majors.
If LSU appeals to you, but you’re also attracted by the advantages of a smaller college or university, residential colleges are the perfect option for you. Join a residential college and have the best of both. Residential colleges make LSU feel smaller, as you live, study, and explore with a smaller group of students who share similar interests as you. Don’t forget that year after year, students who participate in a residential college have higher GPAs and graduation rates and are more likely to continue on to their next year of college.

It was also one of the better mess halls, only the athletic dining hall was better.
If I remember correctly, I ate many a double cheeseburger there, along with multiple bowls of cereal. My freshman 15 quickly became 30.

LSU's library is terrible.

really?
Dorman is the only correct answer followed by this travesty.

This has to be the biggest WTF, how did this happen other than Henry Hunter wanted Space Mountain on campus.

Oh, Blocker and Diff Eq. I can't say that I miss you too much.

Blocker is such a fricking eyesore.
It was an eyesore in 1995, and it still is an eyesore.

Ironically the Architecture Building

These two are generally regarded as the worst on campus: McClung Tower on the left and Hodges Library on the right.

I don't get our fans that hate the Hunter Henry Center. It's not like it's in the middle of campus sticking out amongst the brick and mortar. It's unconventional and really cool.

It's actually not even on campus, hence parties and receptions there being allowed to serve alcohol. I also agree, I kind of like it. It will probably look pretty dated in about 5-10 years, but I've always thought it would be a great spot for a wedding reception beingb so close to the cotton district.
