You're our third biggest rival behind Florida and tech

The last time I was in Athens the girls I had with me said they got spit at and barked at. They most likely exaggerated a little bit but they were pissed off.
I can personally vouch for the barking. I was in Athens in 2004 and would have douche bags jump right in my face and start barking as I was walking to the game. It was pretty intense walking around the tailgates and during pregame.
However after the game once we spanked their arse it was a different story. As we were walking back to our car a few girls tried to start some shite with one of the girls with us but that was the only dust up.

I went to Auburn from 1990-1994 and I remember the good times shared in the AU/UGA rivalry.
We had our intense rivalry (LSU), and our hate filled rivalry (Bama), but UGA was known as the fun rivalry.
One of my roommates was from Georgia and we had several UGA students spend Friday and Saturday nights in our apartment for the game in Auburn. The next year some UGA students let me and several friends stay in their apartment for the game in Athens.
In my opinion all college football rivalries became more intense and less friendly after the internet became commonplace, and the 2010 game was the straw that broke the camel’s back (Or the “Late hit that broke the QB’s back.”)
Either way much of the good hearted fun in the AU/UGA rivalry is gone, and I would like to see it come back.

Wanna know how I know how I know you're full of shite? Did they also spit on you while tailgating in Athens that year?

2010 ruined auburn for a lot of opposing fans. Cam, Fairley, and the cult like defense of their antics by the auburn faithful really messed some shite up and neither side have let it go since

It's definitely contribution from both sides that has brought the vitriol the last few years. And I agree, 2010 flipped a switch.

Its the changing demographics of UGA students. 2010 may have pissed off dawg fans but I got treated worse in Athens in 2007 than any other SEC venue and I've been everywhere but Arky, KY, A&M, Mizz. UGA students are now a bunch of kids whose parents moved to Marrietta in 1997 from Ohio. Amoral Yankees who think they need to act like NFL fans.

You just described 80% of the out of state student base at Auburn.

Closer to about 30%. We get quite a few (myself included) from FL.

So that's how far the Dawg program has fallen huh?
Wow! Sad to see.

We're trying to get on the AU pattern where we're bad for 2 years, average for 1 and then have a great year. Rinse and repeat.

I was being sarcastic, but 30% is even higher than I would have realistically guessed.

It started with the fire hose incident you sore losing inbred POS pink lemonade sipping shitebirds.

s/o to all the Georgia fans that were there that day literally tearing up the stadium, including pulling up turf and shaking loose some new handicap ramp rails that had just been installed that season
ETA: except it was totally a new high-powered sprinkler system, not fire hoses, but whatever floats your boat

Lots of AU Alum in the Atlanta area.I know all the jokes about fallback school and all, but most of the kids I've known the past 10 years or so that have gone to AU have been legacies or had some other ties (friends going there).
2684 from GA and 1052 from FL in 2016. There were a lot more from FL it seemed when I was there though.
