Who do we throw?

I would expect Cheese (LHP) to get the start. I would also expect DVH to make pitching changes each time through the LSU order. Which means you maybe see Cheese go 2-3 innings. Then I think we see some order of Coil(LHP), Bybee (RHP), Carter (RHP), Gibler (LHP), and Foutch (RHP). Out of those guys, you stick with whoever is hot out of the pen and roll with them until consecutive hits or a walk or two.

DVH is 9-5 against Jay Johnson since he arrived at LSU. In those Arkansas wins, the Hogs magic number is getting to 5 runs scored. DVH is 7-1 against Johnson at LSU when Arkansas scores at least 5 runs in a game.

So while we focus on pitching and who is available, Arkansas needs to put some runs up and keep hitting the ball as they have the last two games in Omaha to have a chance the next two days.

At the risk of me being labeled a hater.....why does everyone bring their dog with them everywhere these days?

I am a dog lover, but still. One of my co-workers got a dog from the pound yesterday and brought him to the office. Where he promptly pissed on the carpet and growled at people. And she was so upset about it.

I used to bring my dogs with me to run errands or going to a friend's house. It's just too much to keep up with and not everyone wants animals around. I certainly wouldn't bring a dog out to that environment where they're just there doing nothing for 4 hours and nowhere to lay down.

Curiel and family are from California. Derek said he hadn't seen his dog in over 6 months.

because he's my companion. he enjoys truck rides, coming on the boat when we go fishing, etc.

i didn't get a dog to stick him in a kennel the majority of his life

They should just preemptively push back today’s games until tomorrow imo

I agree. Just out of an “abundance of caution” for the student athletes, ya know.

Rain is supposed to be past by mid day, only potential impact on LSU-Arkansas is if the early game runs a little later.

Baseball game in the stands may be a bit much, but I take my dog everywhere I can because dogs are just better than people.

She's a 120 lb Weimaraner, equal parts sweetness and ferocity. Happy for scritches, but trained to rip your arm off if I told her to.

I take my dog everywhere. Shes been on all the vacations. Shes one of our other family members. I didn’t get a dog to stick out in the yard on a chain or put in a kennel either. Dog is so loyal I don’t even have to leash her. I do because of leash laws but she’s not leashed walking in the woods and she don’t get out of sight

The next few hours will be the last chance of rain in the forecast. However, this weekend will see high temps of 100 degrees with strong winds blowing from the south.

I heard a lot of pundits talking about the how the SEC had "failed" in the tourney with so many teams getting knocked out. But the numbers don't support that argument.

We only had 20% of the original field.
But 25% of the final 16.
And 25% of the final 8.
And now have 50% of the final 4.

Louisville starter has a 9.00 ERA. Why couldn't one of us be on that side of the bracket?
