This doesn't make sense to me because I'm, naturally, not wrapped up in whatever you are because I'm new here and not a lonely, bored, everyone is the same poster type nut.

Wrong. It just took about 10 minutes to make that. 8 minutes of that time was just googling up the images.
And then, instead of just pasting them onto the original corndog, I clicked clone on the image and then cloned parts of the images onto the corndog.
This gave a little more flexibility with overlap, size selection, reduced # of layers, etc...
