Yes, playing in empty stadiums against defenses who didn’t practice until the fall was much more difficult I’m sure.
Imagine if Mac Jones had a chance to practice in the Spring...

Burrow made LSU the best team with the best season.
LSU set the SEC record for players drafted last year. He had quite a bit of help.

If Bryce Young or Paul Tyson starts last year, Alabama doesn't win the national championship. This is a scientific fact.

Four of the top-10 teams in the final poll!
See how that works?

It doesn't count because those teams didn't get extra games against cupcakes to pad win totals. LSU is lucky AF they didn't play Texas to start season especially getting their balls smashed in by Mississippi State.
Too bad Alabama didn't play Vanderbilt and South Carolina.

So this year a bunch of people in the SEC and CFB must’ve put up similar stats to Mac right?

Now whose fault is it that Alabama didn't play another one?
What a ridiculous pissing contest this type of crap turns out to be.

Well then you contradict the Bammer point about the all SEC schedule.
There was no one else in the SEC in 2019 that LSU wouldn't have handled.

Do you really think that Ga. Southern, NW State (whatever the frick that is!) and Utah St. are comparable to SEC teams?
Do you really think that there was another team in the country last year that Alabama couldn't have handled?
This crap can go on and on!...give it a rest.

And we STILL, to this day, played more top 10 teams than BAMA did no matter how many excuses you want to make
Two points -
1) To be fair about it, Bama can't put Bama on their schedule as a top 10 opponent.
2) In 2020, we might have had one more except that LSU played .500 ball. It ain't all on us.

Maybe if they have Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, Najee Harris and 5 NFL o linemen

Listen Alabama fans, you just have to promise me you will keep talking about Mac after he’s had a year in the NFL under his belt. Deal? Deal.

Stop right there;
Mac Jones did not have one of the best seasons in college football history. College football was a complete shite show due to covid restrictions. No more than 6 individuals in any location at one time (Louisiana) , mask mandates, opt outs, lockdowns, etc...Alabama stole the opportunity to win a championship while the rest of the country was focusing their attention on overcoming the covid crisis. Mac Jones name will never be synonymous to Joe Burrow. JOE WON THE HEISMAN, MAC WATCHED FROM HOME.

Typical BAMA fan to consider Mizzou, Tenn, and Kentucky legitimate contenders only after they beat them.

Remember when Joe Burreaux went 31of 39 woth 393 yards and 3 touchdowns in Thugalooser?
