The score was 40-10 late in the fourth quarter until a garbage TD made it look more respectable.

Not exactly sure that 40-17 makes a game look respectable.

This whole system is so dumb. 4 team playoff with BCS system seeding is so simple and so much better.

Clemson is 2 only because they are about to play Miami and they always seed the teams like that so its a huge game and a "knockout" type game.

Outside of the order of Clemson and Miami the committee had the exact order I felt it should be 1-10.

I see a lot of people complaining about other top ten placements. I think they got it almost perfect and dont see anything out of line. UGA was not deserving of #1 to start with and 7 is the exact slot they should be. Just ahead of ND.

They should 100% want auburn, things are different the second time around usually and barn is not as good as bama and their coach isn’t the devil spawn who reigns terror in big games.

Not trolling here, but they got skull-fricked. Absolutely demolished. #7 is honestly right where they should be.

Unfortunately thats the reality of getting pummeled this late in the season. If it was a close loss perhaps it may be different but..

Yes. And for a change the committee is ranking teams with head to heads exactly where they should. Loser in back. Obviously if there is a 2-3 loss differential this may not be the case and is fair imo. Playoff rankings should be best teams but also they should have their full body of work count for something too. So one loss dose not mean the end of the world. Even in it happens late. That only makes sense.

they are not the best one loss team. they would lose to all the two loss teams in the top ten. Oh, they have already got beaten by one of the two loss teams.

If they win out, their chances are excellent and that's all you can ask for.

Where are you getting Strongest SOS? I just checked several sites and they rank from 5 to 23 depending on site.
