We've all spent too much time the past two days on our own forum talking about why the offense hasn't felt the same. Like, every single one of us. We were the only team in nine games since the tournament started to score less than four runs on Murray State. Less than half the average. We got one against LSU. We let UCLA hang around until the seventh inning.
Regardless of the reason, we're not generating runs very easily, and it's not wrong to be frustrated by that, given our pitching has never given a better top to bottom performance.
I'm not trying to overreact and say throw in the towel because it's all over, but sometimes the venom from this snake bite Arkansas seems to have makes it hard to think clearly.
