Once upon a time the west coast teams were right there if not better than teams from the southeast. But a lot has changed, and former west coast players like KP seem hard pressed to admit west coast baseball is nowhere near what it used to be

Oh they kept going on and on about how home grown UCLA is while almost dogging LSU about recruiting nationally. Yeah because we can and they can’t anymore. Three of our starters are from out west. They didn’t stay home. Wonder why
