I thought it looked natural in real time but they called someone else in the CWS out earlier this week for the same sort of natural move when they turned so at least they were consistent

Yes it was. But try standing in there where you get 1 ms to make a decision and let’s see what you decide. He did what he always does and 99% of baseball players do. Turned his shoulder.

It was a breaking ball dude that barely clipped his elbow. That’s not a difficult pitch to avoid. What happened is he’s trained to let that pitch hit him, but he lost track of the count
