I’ll acknowledge it. Literally every single change since the end of the BCS in college football was done to prevent the SEC and Southeast from dominating the sport until eternity.
Nice Spin Job

Letting everyone pay their players just like the SEC always has is somehow a conspiracy against the SEC.
Dammit, we used to be the only ones that paid our players, this isn't fair

I just saw that… still doesn’t mean shite as far as this stupid thread goes.

I stopped right there.

No you didn't.
You're just pretending you didn't read it because it's the uncomfortable cold hard truth.

I used to live in big ten country. Cash has been flowing for years up there. Just ask Anthony Carter.

The cognitive dissonance in this statement. Holy shite!

Had to stop reading there. Who had the spy gate only a year ago? If you think a school tied to Dave Portnoy hasn’t given money to players, you are delusional. Those two teams in particular have done whatever they can to win.
This is a good moment for Michigan. Now they can pay boys in the South to play the n cold weather. They flipped a hometown boy. He may have played them to get the bigger pay day.

You paid a couple million dollars for a run support safety with 27 tackles, no interceptions, no forced fumbles and 3 passes defended.
Congrats on your ROI.

Uhh, no. It’s just the opposite. Most of the best high school football talent resides in the South where all the SEC schools are. Naturally, they’re going to play in the SEC.
The only way Big 10 schools can compete with the natural talent in SEC country is to pay players a bunch of money to play in the Big 10 rather than an SEC school they naturally would have chosen.

The SEC had a distinct recruiting advantage because more black people live in the SEC footprint than anywhere else in the country. It's a demographical advantage

I thought OP was one of you OSU fans. But here he is essentially riding Michigan’s dick

If Michigan wants to go all in on NIL, then yes, it could get scary. Of course, the same could be said about schools Like Cal, WA and Stanford

That DNA cares about the bigger picture.... Not winning a shiny Little League trophy.
A Coast of billionaires vs. a gulf coast of....well...you know.
I hate Cal and Stanford politics and how they funnily enough were the ones who destroyed the Pac12 and fricked themselves but to infer they would ever divert crazy $ to foosball like the SEC fanbase....never happen.

That's why Caleb Downs and Quinshon Judkins are at Ohio State this year instead of Alabama & Ole Miss.
You know nothing of what you speak. Q. Judkins got a pay cut to go to OSU and he tried to crawl his way back.
you can believe it or not, but that's a fact.
