The CFP Committee cherry picked criteria

Any reason they provided to leave out the Noles was accentuated over precedent, and never applied previously. Alabama had a 1,000 yard receiver out in 2021. And then they lost another 1,000 yard recover for the CFP final where they weee TOTALLY OUTMATCHED by UGA.

They said Bama was a different team than the one that lost BY 10 AT HOME to Texas, but they have to overlook an asterisk win over Auburn and USF.

Noles Defense got better thru the season and Rodemaker would be back for the playoffs. I’d say they are a different team than had beaten Louisville.

Oh, and Saban is a whiny bitch.

1 loss on the #6 SOS > undefeated on #55 SOS

This isn't hard.

Nowhere in the criteria does it say that if you go undefeated you get an automatic bid.

ACC

A P5 conference.

Clemson and FSU are recent national Champs.

Miami is in the conference too.

It's really not comparable at all. Alabama was the #1 seed that year and the final game was 13-9 going into the 4th.

TCU screwed FSU. Networks didn't want another blowout and they run the show.

The SEC was never going to be left out. That was too far a bridge for the committee to cross.

I told the Texas fans that they would jump FSU and was told that was retarded. How quickly people forget.

Same conference that saw Clemson play for several natl championship games and win a couple?

An undefeated team with a strength of schedule in the 50s has never made the playoffs (Except for Michigan this year ironically)

2017 UCF got left out with the 54th ranked schedule. Basically identical to FSUs 55th

Oooohhh really? Miami!!! Lol. Loser conference. Quite literally the easiest path in the "power 5" ask Bobby Bowden.

Here is a tip. There is no power 5. There is a power two, B1G and SEC. The others get to fill in the open spaces.

Hot take. You made some excellent points that were wholly original and none that were utterly irrelevant.

I'll post this on my My Space page to see justice served.

Criteria? Precedent? Deserved?

All empty words.

This is a Committee. They are only charged with selecting the four teams by consensus of opinion.

Agree or disagree, it doesn’t matter.

The committee did exactly what it was asked. We have four teams in the playoff.

Bama had the lead for a bit in the fourth quarter in the CFPNCG and then fell apart late. Hardly a case of being outmatched.

You’re an idiot.

Strength of schedule and unavailability of key players are selection criteria.

FSU played a shite schedule and lost their QB. It is what it is.
