So apparently, OM is the life of SEC football.
They didn't do nuthin'.
Are being unjustly punished because the rest of the conference is jealous of their success.

Now the SEC is staring down the barrel of another ten year valley after a 15 year boom.
I can assure you that the strength of the SEC has never and likely will never rest on the shoulders of Ole Miss. OM is just a whipping boy that will occasionally pipe up and win 6 conference games in a season.

one of these was a joke, the other really happened. 55-20

Look, your athletic department got caught in a blatant case of lack of institutional control. Deal with it.

Ole Miss is nowhere near a top 10 program, so when you recruit like one out of nowhere, it's going to bring attention. Then when your staff gets all up in arms about the attention and begs people to try to find any sort of wrongdoing, it's probably going to draw more attention. You guys did this to yourself.

That is part of it but the Saunders stuff brought the NCAA to Oxford. Then Tunsil's step-dad got butt hurt and ran to the NCAA. Then Tunsil had a brain fart after he was personally attacked on draft night. It was a perfect storm of "WAOM". I would bet my house on the fact that if the NCAA investigated any SEC program for 5 years they would find multiple level 1 violations.
Those of you who think your school is clean is hilarious. Everyone speeds on the interstate. We got caught because the NCAA came to investigate the Saunders stuff.

So explain Leo Lewis and others that y'all have pulled in the last couple of years. Leo Lewis's recruitment was clean? OM and LSU were bidding on him and he ends up and the clean MSU? You're out of your mind.
Bottom line is everyone is doing the same shite. We just had the NCAA pissed off and they had a reason to be in Oxford.
And give me examples of "going 120 backwards and texting." I think you have this narrative in your head and no real examples of it. I can explain the '13 class.

The "same shite"? No but everyone is cheating to some degree.

Tunsil comes to mind. Ole Miss was never on his radar until a week before signing day. UGA had been recruiting him for years, and all of a sudden he's headed to Oxford. That doesn't just happen

That's just not true. He always had OM in his top 10 and top 5. Recruiting services didn't believe OM was in it so it surprised everyone but go back and read his interviews pre signing day.

quote:I didn't deflect. I know absolutely zero about our recruiting methods at State. The extent of my recruiting knowledge for football is I tune in to see who we signed on NSD. I am not naive enough to think that we got Lewis without a little extra "effort", but have no idea what that effort was. I don't hinge my life on what a 17/18 y/o kid does. Either way though, this whole deal isn't about us.
Nice deflection...

Yes they are what? Cheating, I already said I agree
You are making a lot of assumptions with the same shite line but whatever makes yourself feel better about it.

So you don't know anything but you know enough to say "Dem cheating bears". Cool bro.
So if you don't know anything, how do you know we are going 120 backwards and texting? You don't.
