Florida kept LSU out of the Cotton Bowl last year.

With a trifecta with Bama, TAM and LSU slugging it out in the West, Tennessee is a big advantage for Bama. All the spinning in the world isn't going to change that fact.

TAM has USC and LSU has Florida and Georgia this year.

Why am I the only Bama fan that can see this?

Ok genius, since when is the cotton equal to the national championship. Again you can't dispute anything I said so you spew ignorance or stir trouble.

If not the SEC is a joke. Still isnt it ever so convenient that yall went straight on to UK for Murrays senior year?
wtf? LSU hasn't had Georgia since 2008.

Gaypeeng poossay

And why would they actually make them whatever they want, when they're doing their best to keep the rotations current until they get a permanent schedule done. Cajuns sure are sissy.

Texas A&M lost a chance at a National Championship last year. Does that count?

If A&M got Tennessee and Bama got Florida last year, who do you think would have won the BCS last year? It doesn't take a genius to see Bama's built in advantage with the permanent opponent rule.

How many championships should Bama unfairly win before fairness in the SEC wins out and the permanent opponent conspiracy is ended?

So yall just eschew playing UGA by playing mIzzou? Would yall not be playing UGA this year as well? Not going to play them for another 5 years?

"I applaud them for keeping traditions". One of LSU's biggest, long standing traditions was playing nite games in TS. LSU gave it up for tv & the betterment of the league. A shame bama cann't give up UT for the betterment of the league. And don't kid yourself, it is bama that is throwing the biggest monkey wrench into any "tradition"changes. As well, Neb vs OU, UT vs the aggies, both games were just as big a tradition for those 4 teams. They gave them up in order to move on.

And that worked out so well for the Big 12

Same thing happened with UF/Ole Miss as a result of UF playing A&M. They don't play in '13 either

Losing the Bama vs Tennessee rivalry game will turn the SEC into another meaningless Big-12.

Let us know if Miles/Alleva ever get the majority votes to change the traditional cross-division rivalries. TIA

So LSU doesn't play any "nite" games anymore?

was the third on their list of rivalries

Them giving up their rivalry is not comparable to Bama giving up UT

What is there to move on towards, except to stop the LSU fans obsession with bama's schedule

Yes, about as funny as suggesting that the SEC should follow the Big 12's example

What if the BCS playoff committee adopted an unspoken rule that the SEC would be limited to only one team in the new 4-way playoff as long as the SEC refuses to drop the phony permanent opponent rule, which allows more SEC teams to become bowl eligible by not playing LSU or Florida on a regular rotation.

The BCS needs to insure the SEC's tyranny of the majority doesn't affect the BCS's good reputation of honesty and fair play, even if the SEC doesn't care about its own reputation as a fair and honest BCS conference.
