Because Auburn played Bama at home which means that Auburn’s win over Bama was valued less than a road game or neutral site venue would have been.
What would’ve happened if Bama and Georgia would’ve played in the championship?
You can’t argue Bama shouldn’t have been involved in the championship when they won it.

There is absolutely no logical way a team playing in an extra conference champ game should be able to fall behind a team staying at home that weekend. None
It is an easy fix to make.
If after 12 games, team A is ranked ahead of Team B, Team A should not be able to fall below Team B for playing an extra game because of a conf championship
Please use logic to argue against this

The committee only has an interest in "representing other conferences" when it fits the teams they've selected. This is about putting the four biggest names in that they are able to "reasonably" justify.

That statement says that Delaney is right to ask for clarification from the committee and that the committee can't get four teams right.
You took it out of context initially because you thought you had something. Your professor explained something to you that you thought you understood. Clearly, you didn't.
frick, you literally just quoted me explaining how you were using a conditional. There wasn't even an "and" in that clause. There's a reason you weren't willing to repeat the quote. It's like talking to a 5 year old who insists that the evidence is wrong. Forget it. Now that we've established your mental and emotional age, it's pointless to keep it up.

quote:Does the SEC want to play 9 conference games now? The last time it went up for vote there was only 1 (ONE) team that voted for 9 conference games, the rest voted no.
Some changes are needed...
1) Force NDame to join a conference or be excluded
2) Give greater credibility to a 9 game conference schedule, only the SEC and ACC play 8 games
3) Allow only one game against non-power 5 or lower teams

You don’t really know what “conference champion” means, do you?
It's the team that wins the conference championship game.

What is the point of the playoff?
Please say to get the four best teams.
To crown the best team in college football.

Yes, and the first part was about it not being new. Had nothing to do with the fact that you were begging the question in the second part. Literally. Nothing. You are one stupid frick, and stupider for thinking you're being clever by avoiding admitting you fricked up.
Ohio State...admitting anyone with a pulse since long before UCF was doing it.

You, I believe. Him, I don't. He's really quite dumb.

This guy, still bleeding all over the board because his Buckeyes weren't good to get in the playoffs once again
Therefore he has to attempt to diminish the accomplishments of those teams that were good enough.
Pathetic.

That's your assumption, and as I pointed out, you needed to take it out of context to make it.
Instead of admitting that you fricked up with your assumption, you've been reduced to running your mouth about me.
What's that called again? I know you just learned it...

It's a fantastic school. I didn't give it much of a look at first, but I had a buddy whose wife attended and she had great things to say.

Yeah, but those teams have to play extra games to make it to the title game. In CFB, it can be an advantage to not win your division.
In the NFL, sure - except that some division champs still play an extra game too.

Ohio State, undeserving in 2016 but gets in.
Undeserving in 2018, doesn't get in.
The committee saw what an undeserving OSU team does when they're in the playoffs. Why do that again?
