for LSU.

LSU wins out.

Bama to lose to either Miss St. or Auburn, then lose to UF in the SECCG.

UF curb stomps Texas for the NC.

LSU romps TCU / BS in the Sugar Bowl, and finish in the top 5
What say you?

I would think the Sugar Bowl would take a two loss Bama team over a two loss LSU team, just due to the revenue it would bring to New Orleans.

ok, I know you're a dumb hillbilly, but do me a favor and read the definition:

this is the biggest fallacy in perhaps all of bowl game talk.

I'll play your silly game.

Best case scenario: Alabama goes to the Final Four and beats Kansas in the championship game.

See how silly that sounds?

The Sugar Bowl would take the higher ranked team. With this scenario, LSU would be ranked higher than Bama, thus LSU to the Sugar.

Yes!
That is some silly shite. I guess that you could also add some baseball scenarios that involve Bama while you are being so silly.

No way. Bama was there last year and I beleive they are the only loser in SEC Championship history to go to a BCS game. That was because the rest of the league sucked and they had 1 loss.

If half the LSU team would have not gotten hurt There is a high probability LSU wins the game. The college football world would be turned upside down and you wouldn't be thinking such a thing. LSU is just as likely to drop a game as the other two elite teams in the conference.

No, it sucks that LSU's best case scenario consists of being the third best team in a down year for the SEC.

Now how would this scenario make LSU the #2 SEC team? If Bama loses one of their last two regular season SEC games (a BIG if)...and then loses to Florida in the SECCG...I think they are the #2 team in the SEC

Nothing has changed this year. Well, other than Florida will have the 1 loss.
