That’s true. But he was a true freshmen, and he showed flashed of brilliance, and Nick had pretty dang good stats. It’s surprising in some ways that Kellen best Nick out, given last year. But for those paying attention to Jimbo’s comments and team rumors through Fall camps, Mond has apparently made significant strides in his passing consistency. I think it has been a legitimately close race.

Mond was absolutely terrible last year. I don’t know if Stark has graduated but he was head & shoulders much better at the QB position
