The best fans as a whole you have experienced in your travels in the real world

#1 Iowa State - not seen in large numbers but best to engage in real life
#2 Mississippi State - Starkville may not be exciting but they have manners
#3 Utah - kind even in defeat
#4 Nebraska - dull but very nice
#5 Navy - average folks with above average social and drinking skills
(granted I am older but give me an Irish - American or Polish - American fan of Navy and they are great to sit next to and watch a game)

Alabamas last. Been cussed out everytime I've been by some weirdo dressed like a hillbilly or in some weird football costume.
Yeah probably State in the SEC is #1. A&M not too far behind. Auburn wasn't bad surprising.
Haven't been to many other Stadiums outside the SEC. Will say Georgia Tech didn't have many fans at all.

I used to love Iowa St fans until our last year in the Big 12 and we got to see them unhinged.
I get it, we almost killed the conference by leaving and they would have been fricked. But seeing as how they were one of my favorite parts of the Big 12 when they turned into dicks it was like “we are done here.”
Missouri fans are probably my current favorite. Them or Michigan St fans.

3 way tie for Texas Tech, West Virginia, and LSU. All are sweet and lovable when you come to their place to play.

Probably the best and most hospitable that I have come across were at East Carolina.
But they were not exactly the most rabid fan base.

Texas Tech, huh? I guess you enjoy being chased by torn down goal posts and having black ink & tortillas thrown on your players is a blast.
Edit, didn't catch the sarcasm. Went to Morgantown last year & had a really good time with the couch-burners.
