And you argue a stat with another set of stats.
Would you rather rack up a lot of yards or score touchdowns? Ask WV if they would trade all those yards they racked up against LSU for a few touchdowns. The fact is that LSU scored more offensive touchdowns (even before the SECCG) than any other SEC team. They led the league in scoring offense. That's a stat that matters IMO. Yards don't mean shite if you bog down and settle for a FG attempt out of your kicker's range.

I find it funny that after 60 minutes it was tied. But now suddenly Bama has no chance, has gotten worse and LSU has gotten better, in each and every phase.
It's amazing, isn't it?

Lots of false bravado by LSU fans............ or stupidity. These are still two very closely matched teams.

As I stated in a previous post...substitute LSU for Bama and the same applies.

Yeah they're closely matched but Bama played harder in that game than in any game all year, at home, and lost. You gotta remember they played that game when they thought it would count for something. How can you be confident about your chances after that? :not worried:

Did I miss the story where they picked up the star midfielder from the women's soccer team to handle place kicking duties?
Was the game moved to Legion Field?
You have to admit we were lucky they didn't have someone who could kick 55yarders into the wind under pressure with about 98% accuracy. Apparently from their postNov5th assessments, the Tide has a history of suiting up just that kind of kicker.
At least their Coach won't have to figure the against-the-wind part out in the Dome.

We will settle this once and for all Jan 9th.
I have no doubt bama will be fired up and ready.
What say about your tigers?

It's clearly obvious, Bama is much better and they defintley outplayed us last time. We just put more points on the board then they did.

How can we be confident?
How can you be?
Did we lose 28-7?
What has changed since then.

Are you kidding? After hearing how Bama really won the game, how Bama is really the better team, of course LSU is going to be fired up to prove a 2nd time we are really better then Bama.

I have it on good authority that Bama didn't try in that game at all and LSU played harder than they've ever played in the history of football.

Did you say the same thing last week?

It's not a stretch to expect to hit 1 of 3 FG's between 44-50 yards. Contrary to what you with your vast knowledge of FG accuracy believes, the odds are actually in favor of it.

I don't know of a single LSU fan who thinks it will be a blowout. We won at BDS so I don't have any reason to believe we will lose in the Superdome. It will be another epic game, coming down to the past minutes again.

They may not believe it, but a lot of them on this site are saying Bama has not shot.

Well yeah... I said if we have to beat Bama twice to prove we're the better team, then bring it.

Are you really gonna put stock into what people say on this site? It's gonna be another close game. LSU has improved offensively (I'm not sure about Bama, I haven't seen ya'll play much since the LSU game) but we have started off slow the past 3 games. We can't afford another shitfest start like the UGA game.

I agree that both teams are close to evenly matched, but it is not wrong to say that LSU is the better team. With the game on the line in an opponent's stadium, LSU rose to the challenge and damn near ended it with one run. Alabama fizzled, going backwards. We played like champions do and we will be champions Jan. 9th.
