Just curious, how is Rush Propst tied in any way to the University of Alabama, other than him trying to get a job there at one point (and not getting it)?
Lol I guess he’s a fan. Didn’t he coach Sarah Jessica Parker?

What does that have to do with him getting paid?
Ya can't be this stupid.
He obviously raised his draft status and HENCE a bigger signing bonus/contract.
Did I really have to spell that out for
you?

Yea, Thomas Co. Central beat his arse a couple of times running the Veer when he was at Colquitt, too....and then he wouldn't play us anymore because we were in a lower classification and embarrassing him.

Bazemore actually began coaching at Valdosta in 1949. He had won the the state title in 1948 at his Alma Mater, Fitzgerald High. Interestingly enough, that's the last football title Fitzgerald has ever won, although they've been runner-up on several occasions since 1948. Bazemore was in the Navy from 1942-1945.

Valdosta fired a good coach just to hire him. They are getting what they deserve.
Exactly... I didn’t even realize V hired him until I saw them in the playoffs and the first thing I thought was, “Valdosta hired that clown!? A storied program like you hired that piece of pathetic human being?!”

I read the deposition and it was messy and hard to follow. If even half of what Probst was accused of is true then he should go to jail. What a mess. I bet Coach Bazemore is turning over in his grave.

If he could guarantee being .500 with Alabama, they'd hire him a new york second. With Petrino as his offensive coordinator. And Sandusky on defense.
Maybe you guys should come up with a new schtick.

Huh, didn't realize 1993 was 40 years ago already.

Didn’t Pat Dye get fired for the NCAA mess in 1992? Auburn couldn’t even go to a bowl in 1993.

Speaking of forgetting, did you forget something?
Keep it down home ‘cuz!

What coaching tree did he come from? Quite a few from that tree got at least one team put on probation. A few got several.

That isn’t the point. Freep missed his timeline by well over a decade.

Pro Tip: You won’t. His was all “pay for play”.
The last time the NCAA sanctioned AU for illegal recruiting in football was in 1980.
My timeline is correct.

So 28 years? Bama has had 5 major football infractions since our last

And it took that to finally match your program in cheating. At least our ROI is about 20 times better than yours.

Of course leave it to Auburn and Bama fans to turn this into a shite throwing contest.
It honestly wouldn't surprise me if he gets fired and is back in Alabama and is at a school with that win at all costs mentality

Wow, talk about splitting hairs. You were obviously "sanctioned" and put on probation for paying players and please don't try tell me it wasn't part of the recruiting process. They didn't all of a sudden start discussing paying guys once they stepped on campus.
