Rush goes into detail on how Kirby paid players.

There is basically no tangible connection between Kirby and Propst. I think UGA has signed one of his players from Colquitt, and he was a low 4* who would be unlikely to be paid anything significant.

That isn’t true for a few other notable SEC names.

Stinkin dawgs been shoveling cash to recruits and players since bowl cut got off the bus in liberal Athens. Pickens got loads of it.

If you look at the racial mixture of Hoover and then compare it to the racial mixture of the FB team it seemed out of line.

This makes no sense within the context of nearly every high school football team in the country.

I'm not super into recruiting, who are some players to come out Propst's programs that could potentially be involved?

These are high school recruiting violations. You know, something you aren’t supposed to do at all at that level.

More likely, Will Wade's been reading the Propst autobiography, "I Did It My Way."

I understand that but I'm asking about ramifications at the next level since it appears as though Propst was having quite a bit of contact with college recruiters and boosters.

Not commenting on the validity of any of this, but just as general information, there are only a handful that I can think of on current SEC rosters.

Daijun Edwards RB
4-star 0.9023
Moultrie, GA
(Colquitt County)
Georgia

Jay Ward CB
3-star 0.8801
Moultrie, GA
(Colquitt County)
LSU

Kamaar Bell OG
3-star 0.8750
Moultrie, GA
(Colquitt County)
Auburn

I don’t think it will impact those kids at all. Other than some college programs backing off a kid. That happened with KJ Hill here in Little Rock. North Little Rock was sanctioned over “recruiting him” from
Bryant High. Most all the SEC schools backed off. He went to Ohio State.

Just curious, how is Rush Propst tied in any way to the University of Alabama, other than him trying to get a job there at one point (and not getting it)?

I know the man gets results on the field, but how many chances does he get before people finally stop hiring him? He's not a good human being and therefore he should not be in a position of leadership over teenagers.

Kamar Bell couldn't break the three-deep and transferred to FAU. I believe AU TE John Samuel Shenker played for Probst at Colquitt as well IIRC.

I don't know how coveted RB Edwards was, but I don't think the others warranted more than a scholarship.

Amazing that he was able to get a great job like Valdosta after what happened at CC.

Yeah, I may be off-base in my thinking, but I consider Propst as a "recruiter" focused on getting players into a particular high school, not necessarily into college.
