AP reporter asked Daniels how did he feel after “that horrific snub of Fla St.”
Daniels replied, “Personally, I think they did it for ratings and viewers.”
Another AP reporter reminded Daniels how Alabama was having trouble stopping him until a personal foul took LSU’s Heisman quarterback out. Daniels response “That still burns me.”

My opinion of Daniels just went up. Everyone knows it was for ratings and viewers, and a complete sham. Any other team but Texas has that schedule and they aren't getting in.

Daniels scored on 4 out of 8 offensive possessions. That number does not include the drive he was hit and injured.
He is an elite QB. No need to make shite up to fit a narrative.

Weird how the committee putting the 4 best teams in(which is their job) can also equate to pitting the most exciting matchups...which also boosts ratings. It's like all of this stuff goes hand in hand.

Other than providing us with rankings until the Playoff Committee Rankings start coming out later in the season, what is the real value of the AP Poll or AP National Championship anymore? The trophy they hoist up on the field is the CFP trophy.
