It looks to me that all you care about is a cool background behind the stadium. You don't care about the actual game itself.

Yes if people want a cool background go to a pro game.

Everyone who has commented in this thread who has actually attended the tournament in Hoover has said they had a great time and the venue was fine. Everyone who never has and never will attend the SEC tournament says it sucks.
And if it were held in a more walkable urban environment without Olive Gardens and RV Parks, the people reacting the way they are would be flipped.

I don’t believe that for one second.
People who don’t care about baseball aren’t going to suddenly become fans because of a change of venue.
It makes sense to cater to those who attend games instead of trying to cater to those that don’t and won’t.
We have seen what happens when businesses try to cater to a small minority while alienating their core base.

It’s about more the baseball. Even the RV people would agree.

It is mainly about baseball. People who don’t give a shite about baseball are not going to suddenly attend baseball games regardless of where the tournament is.

Just got word that Hoover expects it to stay here a minimum of 5 years.
They’re pouring 30 million into the Met

I feel like most of the people that bitch don't even attend the SEC tournament. The game of baseball is too boring for them when it's played in a stadium where there's woods behind the stadium.

This thing is 10 pages. Don't be so mad I didn't see you. Based on how you post, I usually keep scrolling.
I have been to tons of college baseball tournaments. I know how they work. I choose not to go to Hoover for the obvious reasons. How many times have you been? Tell me your personal experience.
If you ranked the top 1,000 baseball stadiums in the US, I doubt Hoover makes the list. The weird infatuation some have with it is very strange.

The conference is becoming more Midwest every day.

Murph asked you. I also asked you. You must do a lot of scrolling. But that makes sense, you are one of those guys that never listens yet won’t shut up.

Are you gunna share your personal experiences of Hoover?

Sure, it is a fun and cheap way to see some world class college baseball. The fans that attend are almost all solid salt of the earth types. Not any of the blowhard assholes like are so common here. Rain can be an issue, but that is true of Omaha too. Outside of possible rain, the weather is typically great late spring/early summer weather. Perfect for baseball. I am lucky, I only live 75 miles from Hoover so it is a day trip. Obviously you have never been so you would not know any of that. Yet your stupid arse started a thread about it anyway.

What are they? You have stated here that you are "wealthy", so travel & lodging should not be a problem and you obviously have a lot of free time on your hands due to your number of posts here. And with A&M being a top 5 team, it seems you would want to support your team.
