I thought Chavis left for A&M when Miles got fired or was about to get fired or something like that. I remember Chavis saying in the press that the contract LSU was giving him looked like a TN Fulmer deal before he got shite canned.

Joe Alleva was a terrible AD and offered Chavis a contract that basically said if Miles is fired, Chavis’ contract would be nullified. LSU actually came out on the better end of the deal by eventually hiring Dave Aranda.

Every fanbase is that way. Texas AD is a known alcoholic. He hired a recovering alcoholic in Sarkisian. Beard was a woman beater. He'd probably still be at Texas if she hadn't pressed charges - and won. Augie Guerrero was a drunk, abusive prick. But he won. Didn't come out until later

Elko is a massive drunk. Morbidly obese. Red puffy face. Red nose. Looks about 15 years older than his age.

Does that bother you?

If CDC is a drunk I’d be surprised. He is fit and not a disgusting fat body like Elko.

Del Conte has done interviews inebriated. Hell, there was a story about him getting drunk with Dodds in the newspaper years ago. Also, the man has been seen stumbling down the street right before football games several times

He a fricking alcoholic.

Elko is fat. Sark is a known alcoholic. Tit for tat. I’d rather have a fatty for a coach over an alcoholic. But, my uncle was an alcoholic and I grew up seeing how unstable that made him and the bad effect it had on his family and job. So, I’m pretty biased.

I bet you beside their name they have a DNC because it's pretty obvious where they will be going.

I mean are we really going after recovering alcoholics now? Jesus Tap Dancing Christ, the guy is trying to better himself and by all means looks like a great comeback story.

All the knives are out and on the table now, I guess?

Gloves are off for sure. The whole AD is corrupt from top to bottom. BTW, Sark has been seen drinking with boosters several times in Austin. Putting a lot of effort into that recovery ...

How do you know it wasn’t a Diet Coke and lime? Or a sprite? I mean, come on, man.

I guess he’s the only one that would ever know, right? Because me and you don’t.

They had to go to the portal to keep their options on the table. Nothing wrong with that.

Will be interesting to see how many else stay now that this is known.

I guess the Exodus is over. It was short, and not so sweet for the rest of the SEC

I guess it's too much to ask who they are? A link to them, something?

C'mon man

With so many of the players returning, it's looking like the belief of this being a major conspiracy was vastly overblown.

I mean we were told that Schloss and Co were recruiting the current roster to Texas and securing NIL deals for them there.
