Excuses?

Quarterback got hurt
Snub happened
Starters bailed, as they tend to do nowadays for bowls

I'm glad you think that Orange Bowl win was some mega classic beat down that ended FSU forever lol

Imagine if any of your fans will still be experiencing it at the end of the 3rd quarter? Doubt it

Yea..they are bad. Louisisville and Miami are prob their only good teams. I love Louisville, was literally born there, have a ton of family there(I have a huge family)...but they do not care at all. They care about Basketball only there. The family group text is non-stop during Basketball gamedays..Saturday..nothing at all.

Solid point, when LSU is removed from the conference, who should we target to take their place?

How do feel about the Texas v LSU game?

All they have is Miami to carry the weight of this corpse of a conference.

And Miami has never won the ACC. If they don't win it this year, then I just don't think they ever will.

Ya, one fanbase is so proud of that win

The other fanbase saw that bowl game as totally meaningless and couldn't give a shite

Meaning, the other fanbase isn't really fans.

The beauty of college football is and always has been- there's over 100 teams. Maybe 10 in any given year can win it all. For many, they will never even be in that 10. But fans remain loyal and excited about their own team and want the team to put it all out for them.

That Florida State team betrayed their fans and their program. UGA being left out was a technicality, most people understood that was still probably the best team in football. They just got upset at the worst possible time.
Fla State being left out despite being undefeated was widely being called a snub and an insult, not just to Fla State but to the ACC. Playing UGA, they could have made a statement, shown that the ACC rep absolutely should have been in the playoffs. Beat UGA and you have the controversy of the decade, and probably get a split title from the polls. Even play a tight loss and you gain a ton of respect, and never get snubbed again.

Instead they laid down and quit.
