FSU was threatening to leave a few years ago after they got left out of the playoffs I remember. I didn’t know if they were still thinking about doing it or not.

They did more than threaten. They sued their own conference. Judge ruled against them.

I take no pleasure in any conference's demise. And I think they are not anywhere near a demise. Same for Big XII.

There's way too much physical talent across this land, unless of course you love some 40 team super conference bullshite.

Ya, one fanbase is so proud of that win

The other fanbase saw that bowl game as totally meaningless and couldn't give a shite

BINGO

That's FSU's problem. You fricking nailed it.

UGA was snubbed, but still cared.

FSU was snubbed, and gave up.

You weren't "snubbed"

You had your chance to beat Alabama and you lost

Not a snub

Well I think I remember that pretty much every ACC team is stuck until the mid 2030’s unless they can cough up the cash to buy out. It’s pretty substantial I think to get out. All that’s off the top of my head but I think it’s right,

I can see Clemson, VT, FSU, and NCST in the SEC really easily. They all fit pretty well. I could see all of them in the Big 12 too.

Out defense was playing lights out at the end of that season

Jared Verse and Fiske went on to start for the Rams. Verse was defensive rookie of the year

I would have rather seen how FSU measured up, but we weren't given that chance

Because you were playing dog water offenses, ours included.

The back to back natty winner in 21 and 22 went 12-0 in 23.

Then we were punished for playing the SECCG.

That's not a snub?

You can say it's not as big of a snub that FSU got, but it's still a snub.

Both our teams were playing a "meaningless" game, but one team didn't think it was meaningless, and one the other team did think it was meaningless.

FSU is a garbage culture. It will never recover and it will never be part of the SEC.

Well, it's all moot now

We would have definitely made a 12 team playoff

LongHornHandy, is your name a reference to your favorite activity with an Aggie yell leader?

Last I checked you all are still being sued, for enticing NFL players back to college. Nothing with that has changed.

Last I checked Your team actually has a player that tried out for the nfl on the roster, lsu currently does not

Haha

Hey it's not a snub, that SEC Champ game was basically your playoff game. Win that and you're in

It's not anyone's fault that Jawja always loses to Bama

Yet we are facing zero federal lawsuits.

That’s called being valued

Welcome to the SECUT bitch

Whose fault is it that FSU is a currently, in the year of our Lord 2026, a garbage bottom feeding program in a garbage bottom feeding conference?

Probably the coaches fault

Not sure why a Jawja fan has such a hard on for Florida State, we never play y'all...

But when you do, you make ridiculous excuses.

"Our team was sad that day and they quit, otherwise we would have beat yall real good"

They are fine for another 5 years but still unsure if anyone will pony up the $75 million fee to get out so it may limp along for another decade. I can't imagine the better suited ACC members signing on for another round but who knows.

Good thing they added Stanford & Cal
