The 2019 Bama and LSU WR rooms were ridiculous.

Ja'Marr Chase: No. 5 in 2021
Jaylen Waddle: No. 6 in 2021
Devonta Smith: No. 10 in 2021
Henry Ruggs: No. 12 in 2020
Jerry Jeudy: No. 15 in 2020
Justin Jefferson: No. 22 in 2020
Terrace Marshall: No. 59 in 2021

I think a valid argument could be made that these were the 2 most talented WR rooms in all of football. Not CFB, all of football.

Also, Shout-out to the 2017 Bama WR room. It was Calvin Ridley, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, Devonte Smith, Cam Sims, and Robert Foster. The last 2 being kids who were beat out by the 3 freshman, but made NFL squads as UDFA's and have been starters off and on in the league for the last 3 years.

I mean look at both recruiting classes for each in 2017...arguably two of the best in SEC history and the same year.

How many #1's combined? 10 or 11?

I'm not sure, I know Bama had 8 from that class. Which is unfathomable.

The total was 10 plus a high 2nd with Delpit.

Ridiculous.

ETA the total was 11 from the 2017 class...Bama had 7 and LSU 4.

Tua, Najee, Leatherwood, Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, Mac, Wills. Makes 8 first rounders.

So that makes 12 combined but EIGHT
1st Rounders in one recruiting class?

Ridiculous.

he was listed, but it formatted weird and he was listed on the end of Jefferson. Fixes it.

It was too bad that Terrace Marshall didn’t have a good medical review. He was certainly a first round talent.

McShay said before that game that it was the most WR talent he’s ever seen on the field in one college game. Those 7 you have listed all could be absolute stars in the league.

So were the qb rooms. Burrow, Mac and Tua. Lowest pick was 15.
