He had 400 yards and 3 TDs in 3 quarters

Oh he can run the ball. So can Milroe. Passing the ball Daniels wax 15 of 24 for 219 yards, 2 tds and an interception, and couldn’t finish the game.

As noted, i was not impressed

Which leads us to our next question. If you are done with college football, why are you chest deep in every college football thread here?

Depends. Is it a 4Q comeback if—during the 4Q—you lead your team from a deficit to take the lead?

If so, then yes.

Twice

This says a lot more about you than Jayden, to be honest.

Against your Black Bears, he led the offense down the field in the final minutes & had 2 25 yard line passes into the endzone from winning the game.

Was this after he blew a two score lead in the fourth? Because I’m pretty sure it was after blowing a 2 score lead in the fourth.

Don’t lie to yourself… You were just another ranked team from Louisiana we beat this past season. Really no different than Tulane.

Also we’ve beaten you 2 out of the last 3.

Despite what my fellow LSU fans will say, I was very angry with Daniels after the Ole Miss game. Felt he let the team down. Several blown assignments on defense and his tackling was absolutely abysmal.

Jayden had a great game against us until the fourth quarter, when the Rebs forced LSU to punt twice.

In the fourth quarter, Jayden Daniels was 5/8 for 122 yards, 1 TD, and no INTs. His scrambling was greatly limited in the final period. He had just 8 yards on 4 carries and was sacked twice (both of which came on third down and a crucial sack in Reb territory up 2 points with 2:44 left in the game).

LSU was only up by two points when Jayden took the field in the 4th.

Unless you're saying he played defense?

LSU was up nine points on Ole Miss at one point in the fourth quarter. The Rebs scored and cut it to two. The Tigers then got the ball back and Jayden took a huge sack in Rebel territory on third down. The Tigers punted to the Rebs, who then scored what would be the winning TD.

There's really nothing he could have done on that play with the play that was called. 4th and 5 is no different from 4th and 7. LSU would have been punting in both situations. He had nowhere to run and no receivers open. Diggs getting stuffed for no gain on second down also wasn't ideal.

The point was Daniels never had a two score lead with the ball in his possession. He threw a TD pass to go up by 9 and the defense gave it right back to cut it to a 2 point lead. Hell, even after LSU punted, the LSU defense allowed Ole Miss to go 88 yards in not even 2 minutes to take the lead. That game was defined by whose defense could frick up the least.

Milroe and Daniels both had 219 yards passing. Daniels was 15/24 and Milroe was 15-23.

Daniels had 163 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Milroe had 155 yards on 20 attempts.

I take it Milroe didn't impress you either.

He got knocked out of the game in the second half against Bammer. And had a freshman running back drop a ball that hit him square in the hands in the fourth quarter that would probably have sealed the game against Ole Piss. So go drink some more or make out with your sister again.
