Shoot, people gave up on him even though he lost 12 players before the season even started and lost two games by a total of three points with 20 out on the year.

So what you're saying is that you'll give McElwain the excuse for having a bunch of injuries but won't give Muschamp the excuse for having... even more injuries?

Seems legit.

The marathon took him away from gameplanning and recruiting. It takes time to get your body prepared for a marathon. It does not happen overnight. Only we are dumb enough to let a SEC FB HC do that.

We are excited because of him. But I am upset because he could've been much much more. And that is because of his laziness. As much as he said "relentless effort", he didn't practice what he preached, and that's why MSU didn't win anything meaningful under Mullens.

Glad we can help you charity cases with ZERO football titles.

None of them get an injury excuse. Muschamp was here for 4 years and left with one of the worst records for a Gator head coach in the last 60 years. And that came after he took over a program fresh off two national titles. I'm glad you guys like him, but he was terrible here.

Mac was terrible too. The guy had no clue how to run a program like UF. Foley really missed the mark on his last two football hires.

We had 25 scholarship players out for the year total -- 12 before the season started due to suspensions.

McElwain loses all of his players and loses two tight games, Muschamp loses all of his players and loses to an FCS.

'grats on losing by 10 at home to Kentucky -- you're welcome.

Ah ok. So its because the games were close that makes the 2 4 win seasons different. Got it.

'Grats on having a worse offense than Will Muschamp, but hey, you got that one point win vs UK with no one covering a WR so I guess thats something.

Your mother's patooty is cringe.

bUTch the bitch is cringe.

mUSChamp is destiny.

SPURrier was destiny.

I do see, however, how you have a problem with all of this. You couldn't lure T-Rob, BMac or Lance Romance away from us ... although you did settle for some good young Gamecocks for your new staff.

Past ten years has not been kind to your Vololololnation types.

Still butt hurt about losing your greatest coach?
and AD? and 6 assistants? and anyone else we want to take from you? Just tell yourself it's a lateral move and it will make you feel better.

Congrats, I’m glad Muschamp is working out for you guys. However do not get it twisted, there is no thanks to us necessary. Will Muschamp got himself fired you can’t go 4-8 6-5, and expect to keep your job at UF. He had more than enough resources. I’m glad he’s not making the same mistakes for you guys but when he was here he acted and coached, like a novice. It is what it is. McElwain wasn’t any better, but that means nothing in a discussion about the job Muschamp did at UF.

While Florida has the higher ceiling than USC, there’s no reason to believe that USC won’t own Florida for the next four years.

Using Florida’s money...

As Uncle Urban's All You Can Murder Circus drifts farther and farther in the rear view, at what point does your fan base realize the constant between all of these "awful" coaches?

Zook 3.0 incoming.

Honestly, you should be thanking Auburn for fixing Muschamp after he got broken at Florida, and Texas.

The constant was Jeremy Foley not making good football hires, he’s gone now. We’ll see how it works out but football isn’t rocket science, especially with Florida athletes 4 and 6 win season aren’t good enough.

Mullen was better at MSU than Zook was at UF, do you really believe Mullen won’t at least get moderately better with better players? He may never win a title, but comparing him to Zook, Muschamp, or McElwain is laughable. At least be realistic.
