I love Miffin as a coach. I’m on record here for the last 5 years as wanting him to replace Saban. All of the other retarded Alabama fans here said I was crazy. We’ll see!

What a dog shite podcast production. They both sound hung over, and the guy is even wearing a Jets hat. This is what you chose to post?

Of course you did.

Lane is no scam artist or fraud. As it regards football, he tells it like it is and calls out the hypocrisy and BS. His personal life is his business.
She’s another person who blathers the phony corporate line of the NCAA, conferences about the “amateur” student athlete. It’s incredibly disingenuous to say a kid who never played a down in a regular NFL game under contract is a professional “ex-NFL” player when you just watched a $6,000,000 college quarterback on TV.
BTW, she’s a has been.

I love Linda, but his journey isn’t THAT weird.

Al Davis always hired young dudes. He gambled on Kiffin, and it failed. It failed along with every other Raiders coach of that era. He goes to Tennessee, who was on the way to being a shitshow, and does mediocre. He goes back to USC, where he had deep ties, and takes over a program hit with sanctions.

On paper, the Raiders, Tennessee, and USC sound like elite gigs. At the time, they were not. That’s what is overlooked. It’s almost like he’s had an entirely separate career since the USC departure.

No one spoke worse about Lane Kiffin when it was announced he would be Alabama’s OC than LSU fans. No one spoke worse about Lane Kiffin when he was Ole Miss’ coach than LSU fans.

A down in the nfl? Z. Harris hadn’t played a snap in a mini camp, training camp, practice anything. But the Texas guy isn’t a professional as he practiced against current or former nfl players and received professional coaching and training for two weeks from two different teams. And got paid by said professional teams for his trouble.

The hypocrisy is full with these retards. Or like our commissioner, they just go by other talking heads and haven’t read a thing about it.

It started off like shite when Lane wanted to draft Calvin Johnson and Al drafted Jamarcus Russell. I’ve watched every LSU game for over the past 30 years, and no way would I have drafted him in the first round. He almost got benched at LSU one year. And he was known to be pretty lazy.

CJ went on to be one of the best receivers in history. Hard to be mad at Lane for that one. These are facts.

Not all LSU fans felt that way. Personally, I really didn’t think much about him in either role. Whether he was Alabama’s offensive coordinator or Ole Miss’ head coach, it really didn’t have much of an impact on LSU outside of that one game each year.

Any coaching position in the nfl is an elite job. Yes some are much better than others but there’s only 32 of them in the world.
